Zizai is without beginning before and without end after. Without boundary outside, without limit within. Whatever language can reach remains local.

It is neither a thing nor a state. It does not exist within things, but is the fundamental field of tension through which everything can appear. The being of Zizai is not governed by a sovereign, driven by a plan, or defined by an imposed meaning. It is a generative mode of existence in which differences, through their mutual entanglement, give rise to rhythm and self-organize into structure.

What this volume unfolds is not the origin of the universe, nor the beginning of the world, but the fundamental logic through which existence itself becomes capable of unfolding:

1. how tension precedes things and gives rise to difference;
2. how structure naturally emerges within tension;
3. how the world is not constructed, but revealed into appearance.

Zizai is not a property of existence. It is the very way existence unfolds.

Only from this understanding can life, consciousness, and civilization be genuinely reconsidered—not as appendages of a subject, but as echoes of rhythm arising from the resonance of tensions.
